i mean they are giving some lucky member a bunch of nice sh*t for free. in a perfect world we would have known on the 5th, but to the lucky guy that wins a couple days isn't going to make a difference. (i'm putting on my flame proof suit as we speak)

I totally agree with you, dude, and I have a lot of respect for both BMR and Nitrous Outlet for doing this; but to be fair, part of the deal was that we basically advertise for them by displaying their banner in our sigs. They aren't giving this stuff away for nothing...

i get what your saying but it's not like we are spreading their banner all over the internet. we are spreading it on a site that they pay a pretty penney to advertise on to begin with. if you were in on the last one it was the same thing( 3 days late). with the money they spend to be on the site and the money they are giving away in parts i just think it's pretty shitty to get all bitched up when they aren't on time to announce a winner. it will happen and somebody will be smiling from ear to ear, i just hope it's me

The method for picking the winner was straightforward. The user id of each person who entered the contest was listed on an Excel spreadsheet. Each user id was assigned a discreet number. An internet-based random number generator was used to select the winning number.
The person had to have the Hook and Book banner in their signature to be a valid entry. There were 4 threads on LS1Tech for the Contest. The user ids from all threads were combined into one list. Users who entered on more than one thread were only counted once.
Congrats TINKRD!! Good News….There will be another Hook and Book Contest coming soon, so don’t change those sigs. Good Luck!!!
