The new one is a heck of a lot faster but I can make 10 mods on the 85 for the price of 1 on the new one. Working on a set of headers right now so that mod money would be sweet!!

Hello fellow American Iron(and of course Aluminum) enthusiasts. My name is Bruce. I'm currently in the United States Army as an Apache Helicopter Mechanic. I'm 48 and will be retiring in about 6 mos. My hobbies are my loving Wife, old chevys, new chevys, Harleys, Firearms, tasting good whiskey and hand rolled cigars just to name a few. I'm currently street rodding a 55 Chevy (4th one). I couldn't pass up the deal I got on my SS and it being the last year I figured it would be better investment than mutual funds, plus I can drive it and have a blast. Took it on the Power Tour this year, something I always wanted to do since it's inception. I've had four 69 Camaro's, wished I'd kept them all. Would like to have a 67 so I'd have the first and last year. Plan on having the 55 on the road for the 50th anniversary in 2005. See you on the road, later.

My fiance' said that she would never make me sell it. I do find it harder to scrounge up money for modifications, but a ten year plan isn't so bad. Keeps me interested over the long run. I also enjoy working on my house and playing with my dog. On the weekends I like to Wakeboard in Indiana. I am an Engineer for Elkay Manufacturing and we make stainless steel sinks. Hello, Im currently unemployed (Looking for a job by the way, can you help a brotha out? ), Ive been dating my g/f for about 8 months now and things have been really good, but cant make any assumptions about marriage. We have no kids together, but in the future when I get settled down and have myself a career, I plan to have 1 child. I like modding the car, but it gets stressing when youve run out of all the little things to buy for it and it takes longer to get the bigger ones because theyre more expensive. It also takes longer when your source of income comes really slow and in small portions. Im probably the poorest person on here, so I need the money.....really bad! By giving me the money, it would make not only me happy, but my g/f too so that I dont bum off of her. Thanks

My name is Nick. I am 24 years old and I am currently finishing up my last semesters in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech. I have been a car freak my whole life (passed down from my pops) and just recently started doing wrench work on LS1s myself (with lots of help from friends). I am part of a Cooperative education program through VT and so far I have worked four semesters all in the automotive industry (Volvo Trucks in Dublin VA and BMW Manufacturing in Spartanburg, SC). I am looking for a fulltime job in May so if you hear of anything hook me up . My hobbies right now include reading LS1 tech and playing with cars, a little golf and school on the side.
