I wouldn't get too **** chung looking for some awesome speakers unless you are getting an amplifier to power them. Typically if you are going with kappa speakers they require more power than a head unit is able to deliver. I would definitely decide the path you want to take as far as your stereo goes. If you want "the best ones out there right now" it is going to cost you significantly more because they are going to require an amplifier, and sound deadening to show the benefit of having better speakers. If you are looking to get a new head unit and match it with some decent speakers that don't require an amplifier that's an entirely different game. Another question you need to ask yourself is will you be adding a subwoofer?

Infinity is not even CLOSE to the best.

I suggest Rainbow. Dynaudio and Focal are two other good choices among many.

Just like there is no best camshaft or head for every car, there is no best speaker. Depends on what you are looking for and what your budget is. Will you be putting an amp on them? Will you be using a sub? Whats your price ballpark for everything? Will you be installing it yourself?
