Default RCA --> Minijack hookup

*Warning: There is a reason I don't do electronics...ever since that incident with the 5th grade sceince project and <Censored>. Fluffy developed a twitch and has never been the same.

I saw this and was wondering if it would work. I have a iPhone, and a Sub in the back. It has a RCA input of course. Can I just tap in with this?

Amp accepts two Red/White RCA Jacks...that goes to the RCA/wire tap in from a speaker. I figured you could split/tap in, or just plug it into the 2nd one. I guess my question doesn't really make sense when I think about it now.
