Default radio qiut working(help)

i have a alpine unit in my 2001 camaro.the other day i accidently pressed the faceplate removal button,and when i snapped the faceplate back on ,the radio will not work when i turn it on.but sometime now,it comes on by itself out of the blue.is there a way to fix this problem.any help is appreciated.also the car was running when the faceplate came off.

Did you try resetting it yet?

"To reset the Alpine head unit there is a small indented button usually located on or behind the face of the head unit. This can typically be pressed with a pen or paper clip. Press and hold this button until the head unit powers down."

capricio,i just tried the reset button with no luck.i can hear the head unit humming after pressing the reset,but when i put the faceplate back on,it won't power up.

The plate isnt connector isnt making good contact try and clean the tabs or make sure its mounted correctly...
