Default Rear liftgate latch wiring

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1993-1997 power rear latch?

I'm going to try to swap the one in my 99 to the earlier style. I had a 95 and the hatch release never once had an issue popping open in the 12 years I owned it. I'm over having to constantly adjust the one in my 99 only to have it not work every other time.

From looking at pics of the 2 types, it looks like the older style has an additional wire in the harness. I need to know what those wires are/do.

Thanks.

I don't remember how many wires mine has, but the wiring diagram shows only two used; black/white is power, black is ground. That should be all you need.
