remote wire splicing

remote wire splicing can i just splice an additional wire off of my main remote wire to use for a 2nd amp? or do i need to run a completely new remote wire to that amp? thanks!

i'm also splitting my 4 gauge power wire to two different 8 guage wires, to run to both amps. i have the correct terminals for that though, but i don't think they are at enough power to need more than 8 gauge each.

You should be fine, I just installed my system and everything is working fine, well, atleast the power issues are ok. I ran 1 remote on wire to back, and then split it. Did the same for the amp power. 4 guage to the back into a distribution block, and then 6 guage to the amps.
