Default CD changer remote location ?

I just purchased a Sony 10 disc MP3 cd changer and kind of trying to figure out where I could mount my wired remote. I want it to be visible to display the names of the songs and all. Not sure where i could put it altough. I was thinking on top of the dash with an angled plasic plate and some double sided tape. Just want to know some of your ideas first and pics are always appreciated!!! There is not too much flat surfaces on a dash anymore so I can't really figure a location out.

It just sits there, not attached in any way.
