Syxx613,

You in Dekalb, my daughter goes to NIU (Go Huskies). As far as the RPF4406 and the rubber trim piece just lift it up then install and tightned down the 4 screws. You can take the ruuber trim ring off it you don't want to use it. It just covers up the screws.

The key FOB should have a little slot (I think at the bottem side). Just take a quarter and use it to pry it open. You can pick up the battery a Radio Shack, or Photo Stores (even Wal-Mart).

LOL! Yeah, just lift the rubber ring to tighten the screws, don't remove it. It also seals the speaker to the enclosure.

As the other guys have said.
The outer rubber ring is for cosmetic purposes.
Just lift it outwards away from the speaker

Heres a picture of that beefy 6.5 if anyone wants to know what hes referring to.

Where are the speakers available? I can't even find them on the site in that pic.

Thanks

They don't make the RFP4406 (6.5 inch subs) anymore. These little bad boys work pretty good for being only 6.5 inch subs.
