Default Bluetooth HF Kit Installation(98 Camaro)

I am new to car stereo equipment but not to electronics. I am wanting to install this Raytel Tellphone 4000 Bluetooth Hands Free(HF) car kit. This is what an online dealer is telling me:

"your problem is wattage output, you have to put it between the amp and the speakers of the car and if you have more than 35 watts the relays in the HF kit can not handle it and will burn up"

So does the stock monsoon system have more than 35W between the amps and speakers? If so, is there any way to still install it without having to replace the amp?

The installation manual is located at:
http://www.tellphone.com/index.php?o...id=1&Itemid=21

In the installation manual for this kit it states:

"If the car radio's speaker output power exceeds 35 Watts (sine-wave)
per channel and the car radio does not have line-in connector pins"

Thanks for the help,
Inverted

P.S. I bought three of these for $459 each from slickcar.com, I may only need two of them and would be willing to let one go for $350 shipped if anyone is interested, they are all still NIB.

ran acroos your post and personally I think you will be fine. Do you know what a full 35 watts out of your speakers sound like? It is trully deafning and I like my music loud, lol. Unless you in cometition mode or something, I think you will be fine if you are listening to music under normaly loud condidions and it cutss off for a phone call.

Holy ****, those are expensive. Any reason you went with those, and not an aftermarket head-unit that can do BT?
