finally my subs can keep up with the rest of the system....
yes, they hurt. ive already blown one fuse in the main power wire from the battery and had to turn them down because i couldnt breath at one point with them cranked.
i went from 2 12" polk momos running about 450 RMS a peice( they are 400 recommended) to these babies. they are reccommended 650 RMS minimum, 1100 max. they are at about 600 a peice right now seeing as i have a JBL BP1200 and its maxed out. in the future i will throw some 0 gauge in, some more ground wires and maybe a bigger amp, although its already too much.haha. i love it

hehe. this is the 3rd set of subs ive had.
started with a single 12" Infinity with stock monsoon
then went to 2 12" Polk Momos,
then upgraded to nice components, Panasonic head unit a pioneer 4 channel and JBL 1200watt mono, and finally i got to the point where the bass wasnt enough for the sound levels i wanted to hear. i dont think ill be changing anything soon tho.hehe
