Default steering wheel control not lighting up

On the trans am the steering wheel controls were fine about a week ago. tonight i notice none light up at all. i doubt all the bulbs went out at once, they still function. Anyone know what it can be. i checked that little 1 amp fuse, visually it looked fine but i plan on replacing it also to know for sure. Thanks

There are two 1-amp fuses for the steering wheel controls. One is for the actual switch function (#3) and the other is for the illumination (#13). As you mentioned, always test a fuse or replace with a known good fuse because they can look fine even when blown.
