need multichannel amp suggestions
I have 4 JL Audio coaxials in my convertible in the stock locations, and was looking for a good multichannel amp to drive them all, along with a single sub in the trunk.
I was hoping not to have to use two amps, so is there a good single amp solution?
I seen JL Audio has a 5 channel amp, but I read very bad things about its reliability on various review sites. Most people seem to have it crap out within a year.
How about Kicker? They've got a ZX700.5.
Would this be a decent amp to drive my entire system, or am I going to have to go to 2 amps?

That amp you see in there is called the Memphis Belle. Made by an audio company called Memphis. They have a large version and a small version. That is the large version. Capable of about 1600 watts Although, I`ve heard that is underrated. Awesome amp, nonetheless

I just checked that amp out - if I can find room to fit in in my car (spare tire area) I'm so going to buy one. All though I don't think too many 5.25 inch speakers will like the 230 watts RMS or whatever it was at 4 ohms

I drive a third-gen. Factory it comes with 4x6's in the dash, a lot of people switch to 6.5 inch kick panels, but I'm going to mold/cut my dash to fit a nice set of 5.25 inch speakers. I saw some nice CDT speakers, but I need to see if I can get enough depth.

I have several 5-channel amps now from Hifonics, Interfire, Cadence, Powerbass, and Planet Audio. The Cadence is a great amp as is the Hifonics. The Planet Audio is supposed to be a very good amp as well but I haven't tried it yet. The Interfire is available starting at $180.00.

I guess it didn't sell very well, I know on their boards people were wanting more subwoofer power. I'm running it at 1ohm on the sub channel, so it's putting out 600RMS at 12v, which is plenty for me 94.7% of the time (What can I say, I have a thing for old-school hip hop at times)
It's very quiet, no turn-on/off noise, very flexible crossovers (I'm using it to run my front components active), and taking 1/0 cable right to the amp makes install E-Z..
