Just ran a ws.6 So about 20 minutes ago, I was headed towards my girlfriend's house to drop her off, and head back to the office. As I was driving, I notice a black Trans Am ahead of me at a light, and when I got next too it, saw it was a beautiful black ws.6. It was rolling on the stock rims, but looked like BFG tires all around, and possibly DRs on the back. there was a car in his lane up ahead, so we couldn't go from a dig, so we were just driving like normal. He got a little ahead of me, and I heard and saw that he had a flowmaster exhaust on it. I doubt he had headers, because it wasn't too loud. Anyway, he drops a gear, and passes me, gets in my lane to pass the car in front, then gets back in the right lane. We are nearing an intersection (last one for about 5 miles), and it goes green as we are approching it. He drops to second, about 1-1.5 cars ahead of me, and I do the same. We both start moving, and by the time I hit 4th (maybe around 85-90?), I had closed the gap, him maybe .5 cars ahead. He hit the brakes, and merged off, either avoiding me, or going back to his office. It was a good run, and only the second ls1 I have run against. I don't know if it was a kill or not, but if we had kept going, I believe I would have taken him.
Nice race. That sucks that he turned off because it sounds like you were gonna catch him. You never know what he had done but your 4.10s are probably helping you out quite a bit, otherwise it sounds like it should have been a good race. 
Yea, with my little mods, I deffenatly think it was the 4.10s. God I love these gears. Plus...I have started to get better gas mileage 
. Went from around 19 mpg, to 22-24. I guess I ended up changing my driving habbits lol. Anyway, it was a good race, now if only we could line up and run them evenly.

It was a good time...not the best time of the day, but luckily traffic wasn't too bad. Hopefully I'll find him again, and hopefully I can run some more F-bodies. There are like 8 other nice *** ones up on base I wouldn't mind running.
