I'm glad in Michigan...far away from that 'vette of yours.

cory,

Great runs. I've always loved the (oxford?) white Cobras.
Just wait until you're making another 2 or 300 more hp. That's when
the fun starts.

I'll DIG as well. It's not gonna pull any wheels off the ground or anything but, it should be able to be driven. Street tires, no but, a real tire, sure. But,...he did ask for a 30-130 right?.... which isn't really a quarter mile for me but, i'm down for whatever to make it a fun race.

In the video?,

(note: just went to install my wastegate flanges, and they are not corect, again. So I need to find a machine shop right now, and see if they can make them work for a decent price. If not, the old gates will go on the car but, not sure if I am gonna race it like that or not. WOuld rather get the correct gates. Regardless, i'm trying to get it done right now)

(i'm ******* pissed. It's the second time they've came incorrect)

He has sent me his setup. His best bet is from a dig, or additions. Well, I think his best shot is from a dig....especially with the weight factor.

Not saying you won't do a dig....it's just his best shot. TT Vette = high speed monster. He is best setup for slow roll or dig....well, IMO he is.

Don't get me wrong, I think it will be a good race between you two, I just think a dig would be closer.

I know what your setup is. Don't act like it isn't a monster.
10's are nothing. Your ride will be a missile once you dial it in a little bit.
I'm a realist. 10's and mid 130's won't (or at least shouldn't) touch your car.
I might be able to hang in there on the sauce...but I doubt it. 140+mph still
shouldn't be enough to hang with you.

What?..this 'ol thing?

"...once you(I) dial it in a little bit."

is exactly right. The car SHOULD have serious capabilities in it but, it has no real street/seat time in the car since the dyno. Car should be, like you said, a 140+(++) car but again,...it's all speculation until I actually get everything right. Which, as always, requires more cash...

Cool deal.

I had issues as of yesterday. Went to work today, decided to put on my old wastegates, so I can atleast drive the car. Which, seems to drive fine, even with the gearing. Good news is, my buddy Woody, you may have heard of him, he works at Russ racing and Speed & Truck world South, he's a machinest,...anyways, I gave him my BUNK *** flanges yesterday,....and he just called me a little bit ago, and told me he was finished.

I was stoked.(am stoked). I just picked them up, and they look to seal really nice. They look like they came that way he did such a nice job. Anyways, once the car cools down a little bit, i'll go outside and put those on. Shitty thing is my boost gage(autometer nexus digital) is reading zero vaccum. Why? Maybe the MAP sensor for the gage went bad? I dunno but, i'd like to know what boost i'm running with the new gates so I can figure out where exactly i'm gonna shift.

So,.... woo hoo for the unknown.

Looking forward to the shin digg. Hope everything goes well on monday for you dude.

As far as your setup,...last time I ran into you, you were stock or near stock right? I see you've got the motor done now, and i'm sure it's got a healthy shot in it. What are you looking to make, power wise at the wheels? No bs, as you know my setup, and what i'm running. I'll pretty much be between 700 and 787 rwhp roughly.... what are you looking to be at? It's a mod motor on spray.....is all I know. Wet? Dry?

You wanna race 30-130 so, i'm guessing your probably running a tall gear, so you run through the traps at 130 mph,..which is what,...650 horse? more? less?

Whatever it is, it is...just like to know as I have raced multiple mustangs at all kinds of power levels. They were all fast cars.

With his set up I wouldnt have asked for a 30-130 I would have asked for a DIG!!! Then maybe a 15-20 roll.

OUCH...Man that was a tough one to swallow....Time for some more mods...or trade in for a stock 1997 GTS Viper for 35K..Your choice

All jokes aside the runs would be much closer from a dead stop...Hard to get that extra weight movin from a dead stop on the mustang
