People around here think it will be close but I know his car rolls out so I will see......why would I send it your way? I think are cars run identical me and you would be a drivers race IMO. BTW- In the Mach I beat 2 ported and pullied Cobras so yes a 50 shot would do the trick.
but like you said seems to me that our cars would be one hell of a race.

I agree. What stage port are you gonna go with? I am getting that Stage 3 port soon......I would be pumped if I made 500 with it!!! Previous owner said my car made 465rwhp with no cool down time and it has a rich tune now so hopefully it happens but numbers dont mean anything to me as long as it performs on the street.

stage 5 if i do it. i may skip right over the port for somethin bigger. gonna depend on money situation this winter.
i think our cars run better rich than lean. keeps the cylinders cooler. my car runs pretty fat.

What's your setup on your vette? (can you pm if you dont' wanna post it?) I'm curious to know how this will go down. I know norides setup so I'd like to know if it'll be close to a favored 'paper' race.

It'll be fun, regardless. I have a new gear in the car so, I have no idea how it drives with it so,...should be a small/short learning curve with the car. It'll be a dog at low speeds(rpm's) unless I clutch it, i'm guessing. I'm running a 2.73 gear now. lol.
I did make 787 at the wheels on 11psi BUT, that was with 38mm wastegates that weren't holding the boost where I wanted it(which was 7). I was also majorly running out of fuel at 5500rpm and higher, so, we shut down there). SO, now, I just got my 44mm adapters, for my 44mm TiAL wastegates,..which have, 8psi springs in the car.
So, the car, I am hoping makes LESS horsepower,...and i'm able to safely run up to 6K rpm atleast.
BUt, I don't know, it's all a learning curve. Regardless,...properly setup or not( I don't know till tomorrow)...i'm more then down, and not scared. I'm ewell aware of what a built mod motor on spray is capable of,...and I know the crew he rolls with so,..it's very possibly a quick car. I don't discard or doubt anybody nowadays.
Like I said,....i'm down. Working on call tonight and possible throughout tomorrow/possibly throughout the weekend(I won't know till tomorrow afternoon)..... that said, i'll go bolt on my wastegates, drive around the block a few times and break my rearend in,...and I think, i'll be good to go, depending on my fuel pressure underload(tomorrow after work).
If it drops under 50psi,....I quit....
