^^Damn thats what I was thinking. Why would anyone buy that ugly *** HHR, when they can have the same motor in an awsome looking SS Cobalt? Oh well to each his own I guess.

Sounds like you ran into an LB9 or L03 car. You'd see nothing but taillights with a decent running L98. Congrats!!!

HP is HP and Weight is Weight. I don't know of any stock 3rd gen other than a turboed V6 that can trap 99 or 100 in the 1/4 mile.

yea i agree there was a dude in a turbo cobalt that had a tune and drag radials and thats it and he hit like a 13.2 IIRC which is just crazy.

with a tune those Turbo Ecotecs hit 21lbs of boost on the high side which is nuts for a stock 4 cyl

^It would be a good point except that neither Mustangs or Fbodies were being compared

Also I'd choose a nice Mach 1 just as fast as any fbody. They are just badass rides

No, the mustang/fbody thing is a valid argument, but an HHR is just aweful compared to a Cobalt...that's just a fact

Trap really doesn't mean squat when we're talking street on factory rubber. You'd be hard pressed to cut a 1.9-2.0 60 ft. in stock form. Not that difficult with an L98 3rd Gen, especially the speed density cars.

I appreciate the compliments thanx. I am partial to Fords but I have owned an F-body and a Vette.

^^I agree^^ I guess on SUV-Tech the turbo HHR would be the ****. But on LS-1 tech it just doesn't hold a candle to a Cobalt. And you can't possibly say a HHR looks better than an F-body, Vette or a Mach.

Thanks man, not since the S/C or the mods in my sig. Went 13.4 NA with the stock 3.55's and a cat back. The track has been rebuilt down here and has been closed since March. Should open shortly, I will be there.

I got it because I have a family and wanted something that was roomy, cheap, Fast and fun to drive. I wanted a Trail Blazer but was bad on gas and cost a lot more. I can get over 31 mph so far best. The HHR SS looks much better than the regular HHR. To each their own. The Cobalt SS and 4 Door isn't as roomy but it is a awesome car but again wasn't practical for me.

chevy is finally getting its *** in gear with their 4cyld's
I would have to see it to believe it. 50whp/60wtq with tune and nothing else...I dont see it happening.
