Well 91lt1. I'm pretty sure you have a quick car there, but I will not run you if you trap less than 115 through the quarter. My last setup I had which was stock, trapped at over 117. Now with my new setup, I should hit well over that. Anyway we still can hook up and show eachothers cars.

You say you have been reading these post off and on for quite some time now right? The people on this board I know personally, know that I am a cool guy to hang around with. Eventhough I might talk alot of **** here, but what do you expect. Look at how many people are against me on this board. But like I said, I have plenty of friends down here when you come, that would show you a nice time. We can cruise the streets, then afterwards go get some brews.

I'm just letting you know, that I trap higher than my stock 117. I don't care if you know my setup, or what I plan on running. My goal now is to hit 135-140 through the quarter. I shouldn't have any problem with traction or any sort with my new setup. Like I said, you are welcome to come and check out my setup when your down here.

 

So you're saying that stock, you trap at 117? And I don't care one way or another what you PLAN on running, that doesn't matter for ****. It's what you ARE running that matters.

 

No on my stock long block thats what I ran. Of course I had upgrades. Anyway, I am trying to be cool with you before you come, so there wont be any beef between us. We can run if you want to, but I built this car for one purpose and that is to run for money.

 

hey thats fine with me man. but saying "stock" and meaning "stock long block" are two completely different things that in no way mean the same thing. If you're going to post info about your car, post it right. Thats fine if you built it to run for money, I don't even have my car with me at school right now, so I may end up doing a few more things when I get home. either way, I'll let you know, I'm interested to see what it takes to make an MR2 this fast.

Correct me if im wrong isnt a 135 to 140mph to fast to furious car run like mid 12s in the 1/4. Or was that the 1/2 mile I cant remember.

On kinda the same topic, Dwayne Guttredge recently went 6.60's @ 216mph in his Pro-5.0 car, just thought ya'll might like to see what a small block Ford can do when put in the right hands... Haven't seen any LS-1's do that yet....

Were SBF's running 8's in a few years after they were introduced? Didn't think so... The LS1 is a superior engine design to SBC's and BBC's and we already know how fast those have gone already. Wait till the aftermarket starts actually making aftermarket blocks, heads and intakes. The LS1 even on the big cube motors are still running stock ported heads, stock resleeved blocks (or GM C5R block) and in some cases stock intakes. I'm sure Dwayne doesn't have much on his car left that was actually manufactured at FoMoCo......
