Well i dont have an ls1 but worked on quite a few. i have a question for you 25. if i called you out for a mud drag, would you do it. I just put on the 150 shot on my bronco, and the boggers just came in. IM ready to drag your *** in the mud. only if you want to. plus me pulling you out of the mud i would have to charge you for that also. <-- this post was as useless as 25 and i being a member of this forum

Coming from me a guy that just built a LS1 powered 93 RX7 so I like both sides, I would take a Berlinetta Camaro with a 305 in it over a Faggy *** MR2. They are bitch cars. PERIOD. Straight men do not drive them and think they are PImps. The only thing good about them is they are light weight.

25PSI you are a loser. If your ever in MD I will run you. The funny thing about these fast turbo import guys is that they always have an excuse. Its to hot for my turbo, its too humid, the engine heat soaked blah blah blah. Shut the F up and run it period.

I raced a fellow RX7 this weekend on street tires at the strip. He was talking some serious **** (it was the first runs since I finshed the car). Keep in mind I have a bone stock LS1 in my 3rd gen and he is running basically BPU. We ran and I put up a 13.1@111.4 to his 13.45@106.8 the funniest part is he claims he was gaining on me at the traps but look at the MPH I was 6 mph faster than him. Typical ricer anwser.

BTW I have run a best of 12.97@112.6 on street tires so this car is a blast!! GOD BLESS THE LS1!!!!

had some of his vids on a cd and man that was a clean swap he did. props to that. im thinking about putting a ford powerstroke in my bronco. nuthin like a torque monster diesel to get me or someone else out of the mud!!

Hey RX-7, What did you expect your RX to do with a stock LS-1 in it, it only weighs 2750 or so......maybe 3K with you in it. Myself, I would rather stick with the original setup with some mild mods. I had a 93 with mild engine work, and the usual bolt-ons, intercooler, exhaust, etc., and it went 12.30's @ 117 and change in tha heat. They can be fast both ways...

 

Nah I like the LS1 much much better. Not wondering if its gonna boost right. No watching the temp gauge waiting for it to over heat. With ET streets on I think I will be in the very low 12's. That is stock. If I put heads and cam with a little spray I could be in the 10's. How many Rotaries can do that that you would trust to jump in and make a 500 mile road trip and get 25mpg!!!

With the stock rotary in it the best I could manage was 13.9's. I am already a full second faster than that. Plus I bought this car with no engine or tranny and have probably about 15k in it counting the cost of the car and engine and tires and everything. I bet you cant buy a FD and get it in the low 12's with less than 15k total.

Dont get me wrong I loved the rotary I had in my old FD there is just something about doing it yourself, being a little different and TORQUE BABY!!!

 

93ls1, those time are nice, but not impressive. I have seen bone stock ls1's run 108 trap speed, with there stock curb weight! You have a minimum of 600lb's advantage over them and your still posting 111 traps. It took me a boost controller,dp,and an upgrades STOCK turbo to run that. Thats a total of less than 1000 dollars. If you want to get specific, I ran a best time of 11.7 without even opening the motor.

mr2's have no torque hey! this guy made 288hp and 391 torque on the stock turbo.

 

Let me go out on a limb here and say that MOST of the people on this site would rather have their nutz pounded flat with a wooden hammer than look at another link from you, nothing personal, but they just don't give two ***** about your car. I really don't care what someone chooses to drive as long as it hauls ***! I will hook up with you next week sometime FOR SURE and see if your car runs like you say it does!
