What a Moron, Id love to see you in a world without law enforcement. Seriously this guy is beyond help.
Anyway OP, if this really happened like you said it did, well that sucks. Know that you have rights in this situation like posted earlier. You'll forgive me though if I take this story with a grain of salt. Ive never had an interaction with law enforcement like that. Ive been pulled over several times, but never got a ticket. Why? I think because I never really do anything insane on the road, and when the officer pulls me over I treat him as his station demands, with respect. Normally they do the same.

I came to this conclusion a while ago, if you cant beat them join them!

GT67METHV. seriously dude whats your problem man, I mean it might be cool when your young to be anti-establishment, but not so much when you begin to get older, and supposedly wiser. It would be nice if one got banned here for inflammatory speech. Go ahead ask what it means as Im sure you dont know. May the ban hammer be swift with you. Whatever dude have fun sounding like a pissed off pre-teen.

i see it as there are good cops and some cops who just abuse power, we go out every friday night and there is anywhere from 20 cars to as much as 50 cars with us but all we are doing is driving from one spot to another, kind of like a mini cruise. Some cops will come and talk to us ask whats done to the cars and stuff like that and are cool about it and say just be safe, then we have those other cops that will honestly see us just standing and talking and will come over and make us leave just because they can. We even got permission from the store owners of a few parking lots that say they have no problem with us using their parking lot after hours. we told this to one group of cops that were trying to make us leave the spot we had permission for and he said, well since you all want to be smartasses you have 30 minutes or we are calling tow trucks and patty wagons and taking you all to jail, and this was a memorial cruise for a good friend of ours that passed away on his bike.

one thing that i do know is that there are alot of reckless driving ricers around here who put out a bad name for us car guys becuase they go do burnouts in parkinglots, weave inbetween cars on the road, drift around light poles etc etc and then go upload it to facebook and myspace like no one is going to see it, so that may have a small part on why the cops are so hostile on us car guys now

regardless if it was right or rong i'd flockin get all of the guys that were there go down 2 the police department and try and get them for harassment, if that guy was the chief, then i'd go one higher on him and go to the magistrate, and have a lovely talk with his superiors. i mean c'mon they had a flocking helicopter and blocked the exits. they were out for blood for cryin out loud!!! i think thats a little overkill for a "trespassing insedent". its not like you were bothering n e one. its one thing if only 1 cop comes and says "im sry u guys have 2 leave its private property". but all that ****, holy **** man what nerve.

Didn't think my posts would get the response that they did. There's always one internet tough guy, but its good to see that so many have dealt with decent cops. There are some a-hole cops definately, but some of us are pretty cool. I'm friends with a mod on here that is local and he knows how I am. There are also several others on this board that I work with that have modded vettes (you know who you are). The one commonality is that we are all in specialized gang or drug units. We put away the bad people that scare you at night GT67METHV. So you can feel safe going outside and looking for your own cat.

greentahoe i agree100%, i am usualyy for the police, they re just doing there job, half the time if someones bitchin about a ticket they got, if they're honest they will admit that they have done something wrong, but c'mon u gotta admit that the helicopter was a bit overkill, i think that the cop that those guys ran into was on nothing but a powertrip.

Believe it or not we really have much better things to do than bother people with jobs and bills and buy their cars as opposed to stealing them. Besides, I've been spoken to in ways that you couldn't come close to if you had a month to prepare. People that know that they are going away for 40 plus years put a lot nore into their insults than you can muster my friend. The fact is we are the ones you would call when you find out you really pissed someone off on here and they are going to pay you a visit .... Like I said you have wanna be tough guys and you have the good cops that live by example 24/7 because we are always accountable

If it is how it was written then yes, but I can't imagine it ever happening. It takes a lot of time and resources to get an eagle up and in position. There are procedures and it has to be approved by the chain of command. It took 20 minutes to get an eagle approved, up, and in position when I was in a pursuit with a guy wanted for attempted murder, armed carjacking, and a few other Serious Felony charges. I don't know where this took place, but nothing of the sort would EVER happen here.

agreed i understand bout the chain of command but you would be surprised on just how currupt some cops are, although u do have a point the heliciopter has to go through a ton of authorizations before its approved, and like i stated before most of the time i'm for the police, they're just doin there job.
