i think the mr2 would win vs the lt1. by the mods you have listed not having a cam/heads/or gears unless i missed something. i think his power to weight is going to be a bit better than yours.
mr2 form 1991-95 2657 lbs from what i looked up. if he has lightened it further. and say maybe he is around 260hp to the wheels thats a pretty good power to weight ratio.
vs a 3400+ lbs lt1.
lt1 generaly dynoed what to the wheels 270-280 range?
Mr2 2657lbs around probly 252-260 hp
lt1 3400lbs around id say maybe 300ish rwhp
and those engines i do believe weren't total dogs in torque like a lot of japan engines.
id have to say he will win just based on the weight difference. he is probly 700-800lbs lighter than you. thats pretty large amount of weight esp considering you most likely dont have but mabe 50 or so more hp..
though my calculations could be way off rofl.

Mr2's come closer to 2800 lbs. actually, and my LT1 is prolly in the 3300-3400 weight range. He might take me but it would be on the big end like 70+ b/c from down low I have the torque and launching advantage .

you've got the tq but its all the weight it has to push as well...idk bro i'd race in the LS but that may be way faster
im pushing close to 400 rwhp with no nitrous. plus i drove around the street races tonight and a guy in a 98-02 z28 convertable raced me! lol what is it about mr2's that f body's like?? anyway i had a girl in the car with me this time (i asked before i raced the guy...im responcible
) anyway i raced him from a 20 role and i got him by half a car (had exhaust...idk about anything else it didnt sound as good as the ss so im thinking it was just the catback) he was M6 too. i tryed to run him again so i slowed down and i saw he was about to turn (had his signal on) and so i turned on the same street as he was going to turn on (i was infront) and as soon as he saw me do that he switched lanes and went straight! lol if you guys want to hate on this one too its cool, but im down for a race against the mr2. the ls1 is a work in progress. with street tires and that much low end tq id only race from a role and its pretty quick from a role bro. not saying yours is slow but i think the ls1 just has an advantage...

no no sorry i noticed i didnt put my cam in the sig! its a cheater cam. i know it would be hard to get to that number with no cam. its stock heads and intake. sorry i'll change my sig, i knew i was missing something! i'm going to be swaping cams in a few weeks to the ms3 cam, or a custom grind one from comp.

Yea I was going to say 15 psi isnt much. I used ot have a 91 MR2 Turbo, had a TD06 then we went to a GT35R. It was a fun car, but the headgaskets are known to be a huge PITA. They are pretty light, so with the SS having 3 people in the car and possibly starting in the wrong gear (maybe thinking im gonna kill this guy) it is very possible.
