My Stock WS6 with just a Catback went 12.8

I should be running 12.2 with my current setup what do you have to say about that? All it is bolt on LS1 Headers and plugs/wires with 110,000 miles still runs strong as **** so honest the 99 mustangs are a joke

Bench racing at its finest...Gt's are low 14 second cars, possibly high 13's w/ a good driver. No 4V stang is a joke, maybe the driver is.

i tend to agree with that statement, but this is how i see it, mustangs were always like the rich boys cars, where as the GM cars were the mullet wearing greasers.

not that i'd like to be catagorized as either, but at least the greasers know how to drive more often then not! haha

A mustang is a rich boy's car? I've never thought that or known anyone to think that...

Are you referring to 99 GT's or the current 3V GT's? On average the 99 GT's were low to mid 14, and the current GT's are mid to high 13's. The original 99 Cobra's probably averaged high 13's. I don't think the pre-fix motored 99 Cobras ran nearly what they were supposed to........so a 13.5 is being generous.

my old 01 gt ran a 13.7@101 bone stock. with a couple mods (x pipe, intake) i beat down a couple LS1's. crappy drivers drive all kinds of cars. as for the OP my guess is he is making up the whole story anyways, every high school kid with a mustang or f-body always seems to think they have the fastest **** on the road. i see it on damn near every board im on, kid comes in and trash talks the other guy and claims he was too scared to race or he totally destroyed him.

Umm, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that very FEW ppl are gonna run a 13.7 in a bone stock 01 GT. S'all I'm gonna say.

Besides, I was quoting average time ranges......not factory freak times.

I think 13.6 is the fastest bone stock time I've ever heard of. But 13.7 is fantastic. In good conditions, a good driver can get a 13.9 @ 100mph or so.

I've heard of New Edges hitting high 13's, yes. But 13.6/13.7?.....that musta been some damn good air. Are these times on stock rubber?
