Yeah I was just going to post this in the SR&K section and let it turn into our new BS Thread. Wonder if Jay would move a bench race into the SR&K section lol.

impossible, you can not order the elite trans am edition engines... the only way you could get that is out of a wrecked car... and your talking a good 15k for JUST the shortblock.. thats not !gunk or anything.. just a plain ole engine..
i dont know man, somebody may have swapped that **** in there before you bought it.. id talk to the previous owner about it..
lake foam is some pretty lubricant stuff, should do the trick...
man, i have the same problem with my tires over rolling.. no need to buy brakes, just run straight calipers and rotors.. just make sure to always down shift to "park" when coming to a stop..
i know, i know.. im a cheap scape..

HOnestly.....I think it'll be darn close looking at those TS's. I am not too familiar with the powerband the G8s, so IDK......however, I love WS6's...........BUT, I'm still gonna give the edge to you only because I've been diggin' the G8GTs lately.

Think I should go for more weight reduction?
Looks like he'd have to pick up 3 tenths from LT's and a tune. Completley possible, but he's gotta shift and I do not.

40 mph is 4k in 2nd
80 mph is 3k in 3rd
Stops making power at ~6300 rpm, shiftpoints are

the g8 has the ls2 right???
N remember I trapped 108 with just a lid and smaller catback I also sealed my lid hopefully it helps. I am in it right now on my way to ct I am letting my friend drive for a half hour
I hope I don't see a cop this time when I hit 130. O ya I hope I make it back in time.
Isn't the g8 just a Pontiac EVO because I beat plenty of them 4 doors hood scoop wait no wing I guess they had to change it up a little bit
jk it will be fun and if I lose it just means a rematch in a month after I give my car a shot
