i know we aren't mag racing but they have tested the 2 and the gxp has edged the srt8 in both 0-60 and 1/4 mile
gxp 0-60 ---4.5 1/4 mile ---13.0
srt8 0-60 ---5.0 1/4 mile ---13.2
but i am biased to GM products so just my .02

mag racin is so fun though..lol i like both vehicles id probley pic a srt8 if i had money and the choice. just going by what i saw in person is a srt8 with a intake only. ran a 12.821 but ive never even seen a gxp at a strip

There is no intstrumented test of the SRT-8 that runs a 5.0 or greater 0-60mph and still runs a 13.2. Iirc, ALL 13.3 or better results have been with a SUB 5.0 0-60 run. Some as low as 4.7.
The MT test you're quoting for the GXP has them both at 13.0 @ 109.6 and 108.5 mph (6M and 6A). When MT actually tested an SRT-8 vs. quoting the manufacturer, it was the heavier Magnum and it ran a 13.1 @ 109mph.
C&D ran a 13.3 @ 109mph for the GXP 6M and 13.2 @ 109mph for the SRT-8s.
Looks like a drivers race to me with MAYBE the slightest .1 advantage to the GXP without disclosure of 60fts.
Looking at every other statistic, they are very, very close.

those were just the quickest stats i found from a search, im sure YOU, being mister always jumping to the defense of srt8's, looked thru every stat possible to find the ones that suited you best. FACE IT man srt8's are fat pigs that just aren't fast. if your ever feeling froggy just come my way and we can see how your srt8 stacks up against a 7 year old car that has less than 15k invested including buying the car itself

not if your running a 12.71 we wont have no contest, i could put your fat *** mom in the passenger seat to make up the weight difference and you still wont be close and you paid 25k more for it, over priced, over weight, and ugly and thats just your mom, the cars just slow

Mom is 83, down to about 115lbs and her memory is failing. But she conducts herself with more class in her Acura CL 3.0 than you do, little boy.
