Anyone pick up the newest Chevy High Performance?
http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/te...ild/index.html

They built an LSX (I believe an LS2) up to 500ci and 717hp NA on pump gas (10.8:1 compression).
The whole setup as far as cam, heads, and fuel system are concerned looks pretty tame

They squeezed that many cubes out of it with a (2) deck plate.
Now I've seen those on small displacement 4 cyl.s but never an LSX.
Is this the first application of a deck plate on an LSX?
It looks pretty insane...

I know SAM built a similar 500ci LS2 a while back as well this might be it.

^ I'm pretty sure that's the same one. It made right at 700 rwhp on motor and 900 on the jug. Its Judds wifes car. I thought it was a high compression motor though.

The car in the article I read said it was a very streetable setup from the cam to it's 10.8:1 compression ratio...

So, what's wrong with a Miata w/ ZO6 badges??? ,

What's up with that track; drive through burnouts & assistance needed to stage? At our track, a burnout that brings you anywhere near the staging lights, will get you thrown out (on grudge nights or open to street cars night).

I hate it when people make vids at tracks and then fail to even show times...

That Cobra moved out though.
