I've seen the 2JZ/RB26 swaps, and those are sick... but they also run about $15k. If I hit the lottery or just had lots of expendable income that would be cool. As would an LSx/T56. But for a realistic build I'm probably just gonna end up getting a foxbody notchback after college and having another car (maybe the S2000) as a DD.

Still a lot of options out there for an S2k without going for broke. That car has actually inspired me in my car. Eventually I'm destroking an LS2 to make a 500 flywheel hp 5 liter 302. I want 100 hp per liter like the S2k has. Which is why I don't wont to do a stroker motor since I'd have to get 600-650 out of a 383 or 396, which is doable but 500 horses is a lot more liveable in your DD.

Not really, it's the same goal Wagoner was shooting for in the LS9/A engines. He just used a supercharger to do it. I think that's the Honda crowd's measurement of "powa" now from what I understand.

Exactly it was my reasoning behind getting a 305 in my 91 Z28. We made that thing breath with some heads and nobody believed me that it was a 305. I got the pleasure of telling a Mustang owner that was screaming "You only won cause you have more displacement" that it was a 305. We became pretty good friends at work, but sadly that Stang took his life a year later.

i know right? or he has a 230hp 3rd gen. . . and the celica really beat him! 
i always think you need to either have your info of your car in your sig, or give us a break down of the two cars at the begining of the post.
hell what if he was in his DD and its a slow 200SX or something slower like a Sebring. . . or even a S2K

the only reason its faster is cause i hooked that damn concrete block to the back of the 200sx! lucky i was there for that one jerk

mine's gonna be twin turbo charged buddy!!!! lol, I've been slammed at work bro! And I just went and got a 3rd job so I can quit my second job! (I had a part time job at poppa johns as a driver and worked for 2 years part time. Desided that I wanted to stop killing my pos and went to get another part time job for Citi Group! now I'm quiting pappa's)Anyways, Its like 30 deg out side and I hate being out in that weather ALL YEAR ROUND!!!!
