almost dead even

almost dead even I was driving my girl back to her car after dinner and i saw this LT1 WS6 up ahead. I havn't raced in a couple weeks so i was like what the hell.
When i pulled up next to him he didnt even give me a chance to rev. just took off, i was like damn. my girl was like go. Duh, ok. Stupid
, stupid , stupid .
So anyway i get beside him at about fiftyish, and honk 3 times and go but he doesnt, i was like wtf. back down to 50. got him to roll down window and honked 3 again. he goes. i punched at the same time. dead even. had to slow for cars.
2 more times, same results. Then i got him to run from a dig.
3 honks.... burned all the way through first (damn stall) sideways in second (damn gears) and 
traction. I pulled about maybe a car to 120. Would have kept going but traffic comes quik that fast.
Anyway, very happy to win considering the definate weight disadvantige.
