I can't believe you owned a GT40, you lucky bastard.. I got smoked by one a little over a year ago..It sounded and looked bad ***!!! Do you still have it???? Very sweet ride indeed!!!

Short version
LS1tech was sold in 2007 to IB ( I didn't even know it)
The current Admins and owners had a 2 yr agreement to hang around
That expired on the 20th, (If I remember correctly)
One of Unit's last missions was to make a new Mod or 2 that he chose, he has fine judgment and he made Sarge (Chris) a new mod. SSU is still open for buiness as far as I know.
I really have no idea how many mods we have now, as far as I know, 28 mods/admins have moved on. We have lost 28 major mods/admins. Gone.
Pat G. is staying, I am here, Sarge is here and a few others are on the fence.
There is plenty to read in the lounge.
IB is Internet Brands
The original guys are stating a new site, some research will point it out, but I enjoy all of you and for now, Sarge and I are sticking around and we would be happy to put up with your shet for a long time to come. You just have to put up with ours too.
I personally, will do the very best I can to make this place the best site it possibly can be. We have huge shoes to fill, but I will always treat each one of you with the utmost respect, always.

The more bickering and whinning will make less people willing to put up with it while searching for tech info. Not to mention how it would affect Vendors.
Example-
A thread on " How to replace a timing chain " turns into an 8 page bitchfest due to kids bitching at each other or God forbid, people giving incorrect info. It happens but it must stop.
It's nice to do one search and find 3 pages of info to get you fixed up. That's what LS1tech was known for. The BS threads and lounge help reduce the BS ( I think ) that way it doesn't spill into the TECH sections.
This is why your post count only counts in the TECH sections.

I agree Jason, but the search has gone to total **** in the last month. I looked for the fastest cam-only guys and came up with suspension and paint stuff.
