Default LT1 vs Audi TT

Raced a older body style Audi TT today on the highway. We went from about 60-125. I seriously underestimated him and only dropped it to 4th instead of 3rd. We were side by side up until about 90. I pulled a half car on him and held it there to 125 when we shutdown for traffic. My car is a 95 Firebird Formula M6 with K&N Intake, Pacesetter Longtubes, Pacesetter ORY, and QTP Electric cutout. Found out later the TT was a 1.8t with Revo stage 2, forge hard piping, dahlback intake and a larger turbo. Not sure of the turbo size though.

Those cars are slow as *****. I wonder though how much he was putting down to keep up, but then again i have similar mods on my car and 4th at 60mph is crap..lol

I wonder how much boost he was running. I have a buddy whos 4 door quatro is running 20lbs on a stock motor. Its fairly quick with it being AWD but has nothing up top. What a waste of money.

I agree since it costs a ton of money to mod an Audi. I wouldn't mind having a nice A4 for a dd though.

I love audi's but they are WAYYYYYYY to much for the newer ones to mod! not to bad to mod a 2000-03 S4 w/ with upgraded k04's, rs4 motor mounts and some other goodies!!! and I've seen some good up top pulls from the S4/RS4's....

My cousin has a stock turbo Audi TT with a few bolt ons and max stock boost, its not a bad little car, but its not super fast, my mild-cam 305 thirdgen runs neck and neck with it, right from a dig up through 90. I'm sure my new Lt1 car would spank it pretty good.

Nice kill. Can't say I haven't lost a race or two because I didn't drop enough gears. Happens to the best of us but at least you had enough in fourth to take the win.
