kill? so i'm driving home on the beltway, today, and there is this guy in a toyota corrolla two lanes over... dumbass was pacing me, so i sped up. so he kept pacing me. so i sped up. so he kept up. around 90 i just floored it and that was all she wrote. by 115mph was about a quarter mile ahead of him and he was still trying. now i know that's like bragging about beating a kid on a dirtbike... but it's the ONLY fun i've gotten to have with this car since i got it. nobody wants to play! 
i've even had guys in riced out civics, who'd probably rev at a dog walking by, blatently leave me alone... i didn't think the LS1 was THAT well known.
actually, i had this NICE sounding, and very well kept, fox body mustang revving at me today, but there was way too much traffic to do more than like 10 mph at the time. man i would have liked to have dusted him.

As for the Fox Body revvin at you, you'll notice that a lot of Fox guys will rev at you in heavy traffic but ignore you when it opens up. This has happened to me literally at least 10 times since I got the z28 in July.

Re: kill? Quit picking on the little one's! Not a kill............... murder, slaughter, bullying maybe. Got a rev from a 5.0 just after dropping off my little bro(copilot) after an unsuccessful hunt. A block away this guy and me are caught at light 
So i give him the jump, take him out of the game halfway through second with about a car and a half. He shuts down quick, and heads the same direction as me for about a mile, all the time NEVER more than a bus closer. I almost STOPPED to try and get him to engage. No luck. Guess I shoulda walked him first.

ok, honestly if i saw one, i'd be itching to race SO bad... just to hear their engine rev up under load. hah.
phoenix i've only ever done that hang back thing once. about a year and a half ago in the GT, i lost to an old dude in a mercedes. fact of the matter is i took off hard from the light like i always do, and then slowed down. i didn't know we were racing until he passed me, but still i couldn't catch him. riceresque excuse aside, if i had been racing him from the start he'd probably still have kicked my ***. now that's humbling... having a dude in a land yacht walk me like i'm driving an escort...

I have seen stupid stuff done to corollas. Including this one that was like early 90's with fart can and full aluminum wing. I was like, WTF is that guy thinking? He also had blue lights all over the place on the inside. I bet he spent more money on making the car look shitier than the car was worth before he defaced it.
