Default Finally a brand new 370Z

So I have seen these around town every once in a while and read the good reviews, so I been kinda looking forward to running one, well I got lucky tonight. I was heading home and out of the grocery store lot comes a blue 370z, I thought the rears of the 350z where ugly but damn this is worse. So I'm behind him on a single lane road and he keeps slamming the throttle and revving. So I follow close but not to close until he turns onto a three lane road and takes off full throttle.

I make the turn and slam the gas and begin my pull once I get close enough to change lanes to pass him (which did not take long) he hits his brakes... But with luck the next light is a red and we are heads up. Light turns green he takes off while I slip and slide a bit he gets two cars on me, but once I grip there was no stopping me. I pull and I pull hard, by the time I was at 75-80 I had a good 5-6 cars and still pulling. The car still had dealer stickers on its window so the guy had to have been pissed.

The back end is even uglier in person

I hate the door handles, they ruin any lines the car has on its profile view

Good kill. I love the new 370Z. Great looking car from every angle I've seen them from.

Those are a good looking car and very likely the best deal out there for a sports car.

They just have way to much going on for me, its as if they come with cheap body kit bumpers straight from the factory. To me its the perfect car for the body kit honda kids when they are out of their teens and now into their mid 20's. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The front grill overbite is also overdone. They are to small for me always reminded me of a cross between a woman purse and a computer mouse. Not for me

Wait, so you pulled 8 cars from a dead stop to 80mph on a low 13 second car??

The guy couldn't drive.

I like the way the 370z looks.

The number of lengths you pulled sounds a bit far fetched but Good kill.

It ran just like it was written at around 80 and climbing he was 5 to 6 cars back and I know I was pulling but let off. I don't know if it was auto or stick but i do know the stick trans but I do know they clock in at 3300lbs and dyno around 260 to the wheels

though I could be wrong on my MPH since you don't really pay attention to all the details, you got one eye on the mirror and another on the road looking out for cops and hazards. I am just remembering it the best I can. But i did not pass 95 my car shakes a bit at that speed and i had smooth acceleration.

'07-'08 350Zs were running low-mid 13s. These cars will crack high 12s once owners get some experience behind the wheel.

nice kill, I like the 350z but the 370 is pretty ugly IMO especially that pic you posted of the rear

We will see about that. Maybe a few bolt on's and they might get a high twelve. I don't see it stock. Good kill OP. If the car is that new he probably aint driving it to it's full potential.

There were a few people that cracked off 13.1s in the 07-08 350Zs... I don't see why a 12.9 out of a 370Z is so far-fetched.
