...which would be 22rwhp (512-490=22). Last time I checked, 22 was in between 20 and 30.

It's really more dependent on the tune. Gotta run 23* with a port to make some good power.

x...(counts quotes)...6?

That Cobra should be down about 30rwhp +/- if it's not ported or up about 20 +/- if it is. I double checked looking for a port listed when I saw that.

Regardless, that S2000 is definitely fast as hell. Time for a KB.

wtf difference does that even make lmao. Well if the driver sucked more he wouldn't have won by as much hahaha.

We should all just build cars and shove the same guy in all of them to drive that way we really know how fast they are.

I was just tryin to state how the driver makes that car as fast as it is, keeping it in boost/high rpms, etc. I guess its on the blatantly obvious side of things looking back at my statement now...but w/e

I know guys with some hybrid s2ks.
you can use k24 cranks and H series pistons to make power with them.

Mix and match parts to make power.
F series cars are interesting

he uses the backfire to spool the turbo up quicker. probably a ALS (Anti-Lag System) or custom tuning to dump fuel down low?

Haha. Its a 2 step function. Basically like an after burner in an aircraft. Puts fuel in the exhaust to keep it hot and spooling up. The turbo maintains boost thru the shifts. Driver just holds down the gas instead of lifting thru the shifts.

i have heard that that is pretty hard on turbos when you do that.

Sounds like the same thing the new ss/tc cobalts have. The no lift shift feature. At least I think that it is similar.

im pretty sure that the computer just limits fuel when this happens. just a guess tho. i know it has to do with some complex logarithm in the pcm
