Default Formula vs 76mm truck.

My mods:
3800 converter (Footbrakes to 24-2700 depending on tire street conditions)
4.10's
Lt's FM Y pipe 4'bullet
Lid Zo6 maf P&P tb
!front swat bar hose mod
3100-3200 pounds
trans go hd-2 and FMVB
315/35/17 nitto's

Truck mods(As far as i know):

99-03 style ext cab
8.8 compression 6.0 forged rods pistons
Ported heads
Decent sized (no idea on specs)
76 mm turbotecnics turbo
Unsure about anything on the kit. On 12 psi

Also he has it lowered, on 22's.

It was spur of the moment so no footage Sorry guys.

We got in 1 race and 1 roll.

The dig- Well... Id say a bus would be being generous. I let out at 110ish and he was no where close.

40 roll- I got a touch of a jump. Pulled about a car 1/2. At the top a second he started reeling me in slowly. I shut down at 115 or so with me about 3/4 a car ahead.

Truck looks great and the turbo sounds amazing on it. Ill see if I cant get my buddy to get ahold of him and let me get some pics maybe some footage of the truck.

nice the mods help, that stall and the nitto's really put you out on him from the dig huh? stupid to be running 22's and street tires on a truck with that kinda power if you ask me.

My car launches Very well on the street.

In all honesty, the owner of the truck is just dumb. Doesnt understand that power is one of the least important things.

+1 on 22 and street tires. But he doesnt really seem to spin?!? Weird as that sounds.

he sounds a little odd to me too, why spend all that money to make it fast when it cant hook up for ****!? guess he's one of them uber roll racers. but either way worked out for you getting the kill

are you running nitto NT555R's in the 315 17's? i need some rims so i can run the 315's im still on stock rims

Sounds like it would have been a cool *** race to watch. I need to get me a stall and some damn gears. I wanna put some 315's on the back of mine, but I need some wider rims. They are the stock 10 spoke ss rims, so i'm kinda stuck at the moment. Good kill, btw.

Ty sir. Regardless of anything else my car is fun as all hell.

They looked like some type of nitto. i would assume better than you average street tire but hardly what he needs.

I would think. Grab a stall and gear and me and matt will help you put them in.

Thanks.

For sure. Theirs LOTS the truck could do if he wanted to make it faster. But as i have said before theirs not a lot of big boy cars here. And they truck is more for show and showing off.

That sounds awesome, I'm workin on gettin the cash together right now for it. The only problem I could see is goin from 2.73s to 3.73s, I would have to get my shift points adjusted and prolly get a good tune too. I don't know as much as I would like about it, but I'm pretty sure i'm right about that.

Guy in the truck doesn't have it all together. 22's weigh a ton, and that's rotating weight so for each pound of rim it's like 8lbs. of dead weight...

Theirs a million varibles when it comes to caculating rotating mass into static.

But ya 22's dont help any way you look at it. But as said this isnt exactly a drag truck. Its just suppose to be a mean street machine. And if he'll stop turning a deaf ear to people and gets his ducks in a row it certainly will be.
