How s? He was walking him from the start and kept going. He gave him everything he needed from a race, AWD sucks from a roll, turbo's suck from a roll. Stop making ricer excusses. From a dig you would've been destroyed so take this death and figure out how to make your car faster or find slower cars.

Not hating on you or anything like that OP but you were not going to come back around him anytime soon. Maybe at around 140-150 you may have started back around (may being the key word) but not 120.

ehh it will be fine it never went in gear when I missed. Just bought the MGW short throw shifter so maybe I'll rematch him after I install it!

there is no normal speed to go to. It really depends on how fast the cars are. I would run up to about 95 in my old cobalt because it only had 210 hp. In my z06 I usually run up to 140. So for a car like yours Id say about 120 would be good.

Don't bother with what if's OP, just race him again if you think you can take him. If the low speeds are a problem then put down your damn window and stipulate what to go up to.

Yeah because you own a turbo car and I don't. Oh wait, I have a turbo car and know from experience, brake boosting helps but it doesn't solve the problem. Going from a dig however, people tend to be at full boost pretty much off the line.

And FWIW A ricer fly by is after you race a ricer and begin to slow down to cruising speed and then they come flying by.
Not during a race. . . You FTL.

The OP deserves a little more respect. I know some of you heroes have video racing footage you didn't have the ***** to post. At least he's owning up to the criticism.
I was waiting for somebody to finally mention this. The Evo driver just let off after running out 4th gear...
1st 2.928
2nd 1.950
3rd 1.407
4th 1.031
5th 0.720
The 5th gear on these cars is supposedly the "cruising" gear. It can be like hitting a damn wall on certain setups. Guys who drag these cars competitively replace the final drive with a 3.73 or 4.11 in order to avoid that 4th shift.
EDIT: Wesman it looks like Walmart is hiring greeters again. FYI.
