This is from a guy that owns an Auto GT:

5 Speed- Excellent driver: 13.7-14.0
Good driver: 14.0-14.4
Bad driver: 14.4 +

Auto's- I've seen anywhere from 13.8-14.6 depending on traction and 60's.

That's for 99+ GTs. As for the 98 and below = much slower!!

A fox notch 5.0 with the same mods will usually run quicker than a 99-02 GT...

I don't understand why this thread is still alive. We have had the EXACT same comments made over and over again.

I think it is safe to say they run in a 13.8 - 14.2 margin depending on the skill of the driver.

Hey guys not to be an ******* but C&D tested the Mach 1 @14.0. I think the newer gts are somewhere in the high 14s with an ok driver, but correct me if i am wrong.

Ya C&D sucks at driving. Mach 1's are a drivers race with a stock LS1.

Yea ditto but they also rated a 98 Z @ 13.8 which is around what it should be. I agree about the drivers race. I actually like the Mach 1s. Another? Do the gts have 260 or 280 HP.

A 98 z28 should run way better than 13.8. More like 13.3. And the Vr4 will run high 13s to low 14s.

VR4s would be awesome if they were RWD. The extra axle from the AWD just adds too much damn weight.

Yeah, you're wrong. C&D blows as brando said.

Once again, GT's will average between 13.8 - 14.2.

Mach 1's are much closer to stock LS1's.

I got in an arguement with some a$$ the other night who was telling me that all 3000GT's were front wheel drive, even the VR4 (which I don't even think he knew what that was until I mentioned it). I tried to explain but he is retarded. He also thinks his 89 Corvette will run low 12's ... with only a K&N and Borla. (His buddies 82 vette ran a 12.2 with only a K&N). What-a tool.

magazines like that dont get enough seat time with one car so they are never real fast with any of them.

btw.....the gt's usually run between 13.8's and 14.2's
