Dig races or Roll races? What does your city mostly do?
So I have a friend with a MKIV Supra and he swears that New Orleans is one of only a few cities that does mainly dig races so I wanna know if hes right. I'm talking about cars with some power behind them, not just stock hondas, any kind too, domestics, imports, euros, all of them.
Do people street race from a dig or from a roll mostly in your city? Please say what city your from too.

Most people here race from a dig at a stop light or road that people rarely drive. Every once in a while people will do a highway pull but cops love the highway so people stay to random street lights

dig around here being that most of the races are for money. I never knew roll racing was even really considered an organized race until recently. I thought it was just something you did messing around on the highway.

but here in phoenix, about 60% of my races have been form a stop, 40% from a roll. I prefer the stop, and alot of the places where tons of cars meet and race ['The Illegal's'] are from a dig.
But at the same time a buddy of mine with a nasty EVO roll races damn near every race he gets cause most guys dont wanna try him from a dig.

I've noticed all the car videos I have seen from Texas are highway rolls, but videos from California are all dig races...this includes 8 second street cars btw. I don't mind doing rolls, but I would rather do a dig (partly because of the type of car and power I am putting down). Not sure what people around here do so far...no one wants to race lol

The hardcore guys (which is a good %) only do dig, most of the other wannabe's do roll racing. Although most of the roll races are imports/euros, i don't think i have ever heard of an organized roll race w/ rules.
We have multiple roads out here and around SoCal with TONS of rubber.

From a Dig!
Roll races are for drivers who have no skill and cannot launch their car, that is if they have the power. Either way, every roll race I have ever had has been with a non-driving-hat-cocked-sideways-douche, and the races arent even worth the gas I burn.

Maybe cars that can't hook up and don't want to spend any money on suspension mods.

If it's setup in a safe spot or there are no cars around, I prefer a dig, but that's not something you see a lot around here because there aren't a ton of places to do it unless you're out at the right time of day (or night). It's a pretty mixed crowd around here, being that there are all types of cars in this area and a lot of everything. The more casual races tend towards roll races but the more serious people get, obviously you need a starting line and a finish line. I'll race any way you want; doesn't really matter to me because they're all fun as long as I get to go WOT and bang some gears (or not if I'm in an auto).
