a friend of mine and i ran each other the other day and someone who lived near called the cops, one officer came (we were parked talking to each other) and said "i heard you guys have been racing", we both said no, but he knew we were lying, he said "just because cops arent around doesnt mean you guys can do that stuff", we agreed, and he said slow it down guys, and left. i dont think there was anything he could do, now video might be differant.

I was a cop... and i'm here in mississippi. Explain to me what court system will allow you to write a citation a year after the infraction? If i litter today while passing through Alabama some1 is going to cite me for it a year later? Are you actually going to be able to recall the circumstances of the incident a year after it has happened with detail in order to prove it in court? I can't remember half of my court cases after the first 3 months. As far as I'm concerned this is a violation of someone's 6th amendment rights. Can you honestly recall all the facts on a specific incident without referring to the original copy of the citation or your report? If your answer is no.... then you're doing everyone who has served a disservice buy lying in your testimony!

I'm pretty sure they won't do anything to you because I doubt that the camera lady was able to record your face at night!
