Rice, Ricer, Rice rocket or Rice Burner
I thought were all terms used to describe Japan's products as a whole.
It was my understanding the term derives from Japan's trade and economic value in the Rice industry, and growing revenue in the Auto Industry
People who owned or drove Japanese products were "Rice Burners". A general term that has been manipulated into a derogatory description associated with ignorance.
A huge wing(or anything obnoxious) on any car isn't ricey, Its just bad taste.
Rice only applies to Japanese Products (not German or any where in Europe)
Once again just my .02 ..............BTW I own some rice myself 2000 ZX9
