i donno youd think that if they guy missed a gear he would be bitching about who wone as apposed to posting the video... if the video was takien from the ss then yea i could see arguing that the stang could have missed a gear... he looks to be genuan that he gave it his best. i do agree that it looks like he falls back quick but i think he just hit a shitty powerband as the ss decides ' oh wate he actully wants to go'

Ahhh...you guys aren't taking my posts the right way. I'm not trying to back the clown in the '03 Cobra at all. It's 100% apparent that he got the **** stomped out of him. No matter what he would've done it would've been the same result.

I don't know of ANYone else out there running 273's with an m6...it is wild ride. Will be out with the ET Streets next time for some 5k dead dig launches to see how it does.

damn i didnt know 2.73's turned that hard, anyway nice ride. BTW ( im sure i have said this plenty of times but my dad is considering selling my GN) im in the market for an ls1 preferrebly a z28 or ss with m6 of course. page me if anyone knows something.

Thanx Bronco, but i havent had any luck with the classifieds, and my dad is leaning towards an 03 gt. I im having a hard time letting go as the car makes well over 500whp. but my dad insist on something new.

If that was my dad, I'd smack the **** out of him. No offense or anything. If you have to get a Stang, and you want a brand new one, do what Unit did and buy an 03 Cobra. Good luck with everything

I second the Cobra over a GT--the bottom end on those cars is a lot like the supra's, damn near bullet proof. Though the Cobra is a bit heavy, they make awsome power stock, and with a Kenny Bell blower they are down right nasty. I am too deep in the SS to ever go into a Cobra, but man that's a hell of a nice set up right out of the box.
On the other hand, 98 / 99 LS1's are now relatively cheap, and man can they be made to go pretty damn fast for what you would pay for a new cobra.

if it has to be a ford, and he will not drop a an 03 cobra in your hands, try to go out with a mach 1, because they are atleast the N/A version of the cobra motor. if he does not go with that, please try to pull off an ls1 or something of that nature. good luck!

moddestmike, if you trust any advice on the whole ford chevy thing go with BigBronco hes one person that wont let his biases get in the way and will give you the real deal. mario has always been a streight shooter as well but it kinda sounds one sided from him total pro-gm sorda guy.
