Default damn skittle srt4's: video up now

so bored as hell last night and someone (we will call him JD_z28) keeps trying to get me to run a couple local srt4s. So out of wanting to race because I have not fulfilled that need in about a week, I have him call a couple out for me. I told those guys I won't run you on your race gas tunes only on pump gas tunes (one I know makes 400+ on race gas tune). It's agreed and we head out. So we send out our scout...all clear. I am running little white skittle...we called the run 40mph up....but like a genius I never got a shut down speed from him. So each with a passenger we head out. Line up and off we go....and this little damn thing is at my door for a while! As he shifts he falls back to my bumper and I am thinking and holy ****!!! He is creeping back up! as we approach 150mph (give or take 5mph) we are nose and nose and I shut down! So we watched the video and damn it was close! I think I was ahead by 6-8 inches at 150mph but I will call it dead nuts even due to the lack of a shut down speed. So he bails and JD was talking to the other skittle owner and come to find out little liar I raced was on his race tune pushing 23 psi at around 350fwhp!! In a lighter car than mine. Oh well good thing for him I only have that little 305 tpi motor in my car!!!! The fuzz came out hot and heavy due to noise of cars I guess so no more runs were done!
I have to give it to him that thing surprised the hell out of me! Damn close run probably one of the best I ever had!
Yes the video will be posted I have no shame!

Here is video http://videos.streetfire.net/video/m...e-3_693846.htm

no jd did tell him was an ls motor

305 TPI gettin it done...

An LSX swap can fix alot of probems but the right modded/tuned SRT4 can be a killer from a roll. I actually love them and that's what my wife had before the SRT8.

easily one of the closest races ive ever seen.. they went by us doing about a buck forty and the mulletmobile was ahead by a bumper.. after they hit the light after that, me and jason (other skittle guy) came up to the light next to a cop.. it was scary..

we were going to do a dig right after but PD was getting too thick....I would have destroyed him from a dig....I don't believe there would have been enough room for him to make it back.

i disagree.. he can cut the same 60' on his DR's as you can on those 235's.. i think you would have pulled him harder but not by much.

the cop drove down the same road they raced on 20 seconds after they were done.. he obviously heard something but couldnt do ****.

it depends if he can drive but myslow92 cuts 2.2's on street tires, im thinkin the skittle could match that on dr's. he ran a 13.1 at 114 with a 2.4 60' on street tires!

Most don't 60 well though, especially on street tires. Hell, my best 60ft on 17" DRs is only 2.05 sec. Of course, that's the way I've driven around on the street too. If the car is set up right with wider than stock tires it can cut 2.2s pretty consistently. Definitely go from a dig against FWD turbo cars unless you like surprises.

Yeah those skittles are nasty monsters. I used to own one I had the stage 3 kit and a few other goodies. On radials the best 60 I cut was a 2.2!! It was a wheel spin machine. I wish that I kept that car but oh well. It was priceless looking at corvette,t/a,camaro,mustang,any other car that wanted to play. The look of of "Holy **** I just got spanked by a "NEON". It was priceless

I base my opinions on how I am treated. also he has done work for other people I know and some of my best friends and not one of us has had an issue. Mike has been a very stand up guy to me and all my friends.
