Backstory: I was cruising doin the speed limit 55 in the right hand lane. Not caring that everyone is flying by me. UNTIL...


So me being the nice guy sees the merging lane starting to back up, i move over to the middle so ppl can get in, When a mustang slows down jumps 3 lanes, doing so almost hitting me. trying to be a hot shot he FloorS it like he is faster and wants to start sum thing.

Race PART: Mustang was in gear pulls 3 cars when i deicide F** HIM, i slam it in 3rd low trac pops up i let up 1 sec AND put it down 3/4ish. by the end of 3rd i was one car in front so i see him reading my plates "V8" i slow down, to see its a 35 year old guy i wave goodbye throw it in 4th putting buses on him. AND YES HE DOES A RICER V6 mustang FLYBy passing me.

IT JUST Pisses me off when ppl start stuff when ur not even doing anything

but everytime i go to car shows everyone is older than me (im 18) and i always getting i m driving my dads car and its not mine

to me its funny cuz alot of kids around here drive v6 stangs and think there hot stuff but in this case it was kinda reversed

I remember like it was yesterday, sitting on the lanai at my folks house just before I went into the Corps, thinking to myself "Damn... I'll be 21 when I get out, almost an old man..." Now, I got out of the Corps over 30 years ago...

So soak it up while ya can... you'll turn around twice and one day... without notice; you'll see a couple of hotties and as you have done a thousand times you'll walk up to them and offer a greeting, to which they'll respond "We're fine Sir, how are you?"

Good kill, I didn't know people with modded V8 cars waste their gas on V6s. Even though you do have a LT1 so it could have been a good race...

haha... Heard thru the gratevine that Ford is planning on moving towards a V6 GT mustang with a super/turbo... Anyone also hear about this?? Its in 1 of my mags at home..

 

Yeah I hear twin turbo v6 is fords wave of the future

 

Its called EcoBoost. 30+mpg highway with around 300hp turbo V6. Awesome. If it does come out in the Mustang then it will be like the SVO used to be in the 80's

 

Check out the new Tauras SHO...that's the motor they were planning on using. However, as Ford has last stated, the 5.0 302 400HP modular is the motor of choice.....starting in 2011.

 

If they release a new SHO and it looks anything like the concept, I will buy one.
Last I heard they were gonna have the base V6 (3.8 or 3.6 whatever they are going to in 2011), then the SVO (EcoBoost V6 if it does come out, hasn't been confirmed by anybody), and then 5.0.
