And yes, SB2 type stuff and other setups out there are better than LSx stuff.... sorry to say but its true. Some of those heads flow over 400cfm... dont see LSx stuff touching that yet
The thing that is great about LSx stuff is it offers great driveability and gas mileage. You can make good power, a/c, power steering, fuel economy, efi. LSx generally makes more power with smaller cams than the older sbc with small cams. Ya you can do the solid roller 9000 rpm small blocks with 18 degree heads, sb2, or even 410 dirt track stuff but thats a whole different beast. You cant take an old 350 and throw a cam in it and expect to make 400rwhp and get 25+ mpg.

You won't be doing that with a LS1 niether. My car didn't get anywhere near 25mpg after I put that cam in it. It usually got between 16-17 on average. I think LS motors are great myself so I won't disagree with you on that but if you put a decent cam in one your not going to get 25+ mpg

unless its a vette with 6 speed... they seem to make close to 400whp and still get high 20's mpg.

My 99 TA so far has been a blast, bone stock auto with 2.73's and its getting near 24-25mpg daily driving so far. LSx stuff is really nice but when your talking about all out builds for race setup...its hard to be sb2 type stuff, thats all I'm saying. Its sure pricey tho lol

The Lambo is not lighter than the ZR1, nor is it making anywhere near 700 awhp. The Lambo weighed in at 3560 lbs. with a full tank of gas and made around 630 awhp.

Carry on..

Well I am making over 400rwhp and I get around 28-30mpg on the highway. I use hptuners with a wideband but if I set the cruise at 70 in 6th gear that is what I get. In town I get 18ish, but it all depends on your tune.

I don't have nitrous on my Camaro at all, its N/A. The nitrous is for a little solid roller brodix headed 383 I have for my 70 Chevelle and it has a bigshot kit 200-400 hp I will be thrilled if that gets over 10mpg haha!

I made 397 whp and it didn't get anywhere near that. I think I may have come close to that when I was just bolt ons but not after the cam. Maybe it was just a shitty tune pisses me off that I paid so much for it.

wow the second video was definately fair,a factory stock ZR1 with 638 hp against a freak gallardo with hennesy TT's probably putting out well over 800 hp i wonder who would win that lol, put a ZR1000 in there and see whats up,now it will be TT vs TT see who wins.

Freak Gallardo with Hennesy TT's putting out well over 800 HP? LOL. Read my other post about the TT Lambo and you will quickly realize that you are sadly mistaken by a mile.

great runs and one hell of an impressive IROC.

I love the fact that it still has stock wheels on it. Sleeper!

Lambo was too slow in stock trim. Wasn't having that. Now, it is almost just right. Still needs to be about a 100 HP faster..

I'll get there..
