I'll be running out back. Obviously it's not my car, but it's a good example
of the steam rollers:

I really dislike how the catback exhaust system looks with a IRS Cobra (above). It looks way better with a solid axle.

I didn't actually order the 3.55's yet. I'll just take the car up to my buddy's shop sometime soon and have them swap gears for me. I just don't like how short the 3.90 gear is. I liked winding out the gears more with the 3.55.

I have two 17x10.5 chrome '03 Cobra replica wheels on the way now.
This wheel/tire combo is supposed to fit like a glove with the SRA.
Guys with the IRS need to run a 3/8" or a 1/2" spacer. I should have
them mounted early next week some time. Hopefully I'll be able to cut
a 1.5 60' at least with them. We'll see.

No problem, it's all good Chris.
That looks awesome with those fat tires out back.

Yeah I feel ya on the 3.90's. Buddy of mine had 4.10's in his light bolt-on Cobra and it still wound out the gears WAY too quick for my liking.

I have no doubts with your driving that you'll cut a 1.5 if not less. How low of a # are you looking to go? You aren't caged, are you?

I like. That's something I probably need. I actually dig the way the IRS catback looks. It HAS to be even on both sides, though.

No cage. I'd like to hit a 9.90 this year if possible. The problem is that
I get one pass in then I get booted out for no safety equipment.

Sweet story and those are the best races, though more fun when you have confidence in your tires.

These tires are history...definitely seen better days. I can cut 1.6 60's
at the track with them, but they really need to be heated up well.
Hopefully these Hoosiers hook. If not, I'll be running 28" slicks full time
on the street.

I'm sure your car has a 9.9 in it with a 1.5x or lower 60'. Just a matter of nailing all those shifts
