If the race would have continued, the mustang would have passed him.... eventually.
well if a diesel is pushing 400hp most likely he is also pushing 800tq.. a general rule of thumb for a diesel is double the hp to get close to the tq...... and 5k???? the truck we was in is close to 8k with the driver only so with the other two passengers over 8k.....

"or 1 ton+ in a 3/4 ton truck in the bed".

I could literally floor the 3/4 tons pulling empty load and maybe get a 0-60 time in about 15 seconds...... that's slow...so that mustang.. is a piece of ****.
uuumm yeah they really arn't quick at all stock... that truck is not stock....

I always thought it'd be cool to get an F-250 single cab work truck with a latter rack on the back and dents down the side, then put a little into it and go make some money.

Awesome

the good thing about the 7.3 which we have 2 of them is for 99 cents you can make 5 of them blow black smoke and up the hp quite a bit. but it idles like crap and after long term use the truck will miss every now and then. but that could because my dad run it out of oil.

I love turbo diesel trucks. Only takes exhaust and tune for them to be nasty. Wish there was a way to help the black smoke they let out though.
