It's actually an APS kit. We had an issue on the dyno that anything above 8 degrees of timing and it was knocking on 6 psi. so we had to keep it at 8 degrees(explains the low HP).
Which isn't a suprise, this Arizona weather is **** as well as its 91 pump gas
However as soon as we put the E85 and increased the timing by 3 (11) the car put down 551HP

If you can afford a C5 Z06+ twin turbo kit then you should be able to afford 2 nice tires out back.

I had 315 BFG drag radials, and it still broke loose pretty easily.

I was lookin at getting a APS or TTIX kit for my car, but I got a hell of a deal on a paxton novi2000 lg pro long tubes and meth injection, so I couldn't really pass it up.

You should join corvetteforum if you havne't already. There are some guys with beastly z06's in AZ.

And from what I have heard though....he has busted his ***, and paid for it all on his own. For his age (I want to say around mine, idk though), he is already pretty successful, so Kudos to him.

How old are you? I bought mine when I had just turned 20. Gonna be 22 in a few months now.

Sounds like you got quite a bit of issues. My father had a 02 Z06 TT and on a bone stock motor with 9psi of boost the car made close to 700rwhp. It was the black C5 Z06 that was on turbochargedpower.com.

On a half assed run at Atlanta dragway with no burnout it ran 131mph. I couldn't get a solid run in because everytime I took it I was allowed one run then was kicked out for no cage or jacket. Car would have gone 135-140mph with seat time.

Edit: this would be the car...

"A stock 2002 Z06 with the HP Stage I Twinturbo system made 670 rwhp and 640 rwtq @ 9.5 psi" (and this was in the middle of summer in New Mexico through the stock catback)

Those turbos are quite larger than mine so I am sure 6 psi on that car is quite a bit more than on my 2 20g turbos lol.

Let's just say for argument sake the car put down 340 stock. on 6 psi on 11 degrees of timing it put down 550. That is 35 HP per PSI. Going from 6 to 9 psi would be roughly 655 on a very conservative 11 degrees of timing.

The car put down 486 on 8 degrees of timing and 6 psi. It than put down 551 on 11 degrees of timing. Based on those facts 1 degree of timing = 21 HP.

So, 9 psi would put me at about 655, adding 1-2 degrees of timing should get me close to 700?

Did i do the above wrong? Correct me if i did lol it was done very fast at work.

The only reason I didn't go higher than that is because Injector duty cycle was at 90%. I am getting bigger injectors and a FPR and I will start turning the boost up.

I've owned that same setup but the stage 2 with twin 57's. On 6.5 lbs the car made 560rwhp in GA. When I brought the car to AZ it made about 490rwhp. The car was a 2001 Z06.

It was a cool setup I guess. The black car was the prototype for that turbo kit. The car was shipped out to NM so they could build the kits. After a full year I personally thought the car had been scrapped and probably in Mexico long before. But it showed back up! Jimmy and Nathan even personally trailered the car back to us!

However for the next few months we were fighting to keep the carbonfiber pipe that goes from the throttle body to the MAF on. It kept blowing off the throttle body. Finally after I told them this just was not going to work they upgraded to the metal pipe. Did yours have the metal inlet pipe? The problem we had was the CF would get hot and the clamp would actually bend it and it would blow off. That cost me a couple bucks in some street races locally.
