as for stupidity not sourced from this very forum, i one time in a car chat room had some guy insist to me that the fastest street car in the world was a supra (i can believe that), that ran 9second flat times (ok, i can buy that too) on DOT tires (ok, you're getting to the realm of possible, but not likely... maybe a fantastic driver on the best drag radials on a great track) and a STOCK six speed tranny (-woop-woop-woop- that's the bullshit meter going off hardcore).

One of my buddies has a neighbor that once built a mustang that had such a big cam that the car would actually scoot side to side when it was idleing in park!
There is also a camaro across the kanova bridge that will let you take off, do a doughnut, and then spank your ***. Stupid people shouldn't breed.

I figured you guys would like those, I live in Ashland KY where if you have a "4 bolt main" it's worth 50 horsepower! thats why I want an ls1 they are 6 bolt mains so I should be able to out run that guy across the bridge!!!

This gangbanger kid that used to work at our shop shows up one day with a 70- something GM fullsize car. Thing was god awfull... anyway he starts crowing about how how he's "got a big-block". He proudly pops the hood to reveal a smallblock. I tell him it's a small block and he says- "but look at it, it's big!"

One dumb **** was trying to tell me that his reg cab 2002 regency chevy had a special edition 350 from the factory. he popped his hood, pointed at the air box, and said beneath that is the supercharger for my motor. i asked him if he was serious, and he said yeah with a dumb look on his face. i never talked to him again!! after that convo, i think i lost about 200 brain cells if not more! if i would have to see him every day i would be spelling like Cuda!!!!

Id say thats pretty descent
there was also that 1300 hp TT351 mustang TDC built
a street car is whatever your willing to with stand. But both of these cars were normal street cars, not gutted with all the AC and power stuff removed
hell you can always un trailor the drag car and drive it down to the car wash and call it a street car

This guy in my educaton class had the lack of intelligence to talk about cars in an essay he read aloud. He said that a hemi would add 100 HP to his friends 69 camaro
. And nos would add another 100. Didnt say 75 shot or 100 shot, etc. etc. Just nos in general adds 100Hp. The guy with the camaro should be relieved of his duty as caretaker of that 69. The guy reading the essay said as he started reading, to ask questions if we had any because he builds engines!! I was sooo pissed after hearing that crap spew from his mouth. I almost called him out in class, but would have embarrassed him too harsh. I just walked out, and shook my head at him while leaving.

I've gotta agree with Unit and say that the dumbest **** about cars I've ever heard was probably here with Bullitt.
Besides that, I had some kid with an '02 Nissan Sentra M6 with a full exhaust that ran a blazing high 15 second quarter with full exhaust and a CAI tell me to my face, with my car sitting in the lot, that anybody who drives an automatic is either "a bitch or a ***". I asked him if he wanted to race, and he declined, but said he'd call his friend with his 9 second Acura TL Type-S. For some reason, the kid didn't answer his cell phone. Wonder why. That kid pissed me off so much taht I was ready to beat his *** right in the parking lot.

i will love the 426 hemi till the day i die but i hate how pople just here the word and get in the retared mind sed 'thats fast' yes the engine is kick *** but learn why it makes it fast. im so sick and tired of the new hemi darango commercials 'hemi thats all you need to know sone' ******* dodge. just let the hemi rest in peace if your not going to do it up right.. they only way ill have that 5.7pos is if its in a car that weighs less than 3,000lbs...
