Default Srt 4

Last night a buddy of mine with a Cammed M3 came out to race a SRT 4. When we get there find out this thing is modded out the ***, exhaust, chip, stage 1 upgrade or something i dunno.... But any way. The M3 and him go off the line and of course the BMW takes him way out the hole probably about 2 cars and I'll be damned if he didnt catch him by the top of second gear and put about 2 cars on him. So then i had to line up with him. I pulled about a car off the line then it stayed almost that way until i hit 4th gear where i started to pull pretty good. I was confused because i thought that would be where his advantage would be.... i dunno it was fun though next time we will see what happens on spray he doesnt know about that yet

Haha ... I agree.

I've yet to run into one on the street, but I've heard they're quick.

Same here, they've got a lot of potential for a FWD car. Reminds me of a bit of a DSM with more cubes.

Nah, the newer M3's are pretty quick cars ... definately in the low-mid 13's.

Good run, I just posted a run with one a couple days ago and it def. surprised me, def. the !wing mod would be what I did to it first too. But I give Dodge props for making a pretty quick car.

Please don't rejoin the ranks of "troll" ... you're logic is ridiculous.

Do a search ... they run low 13's dead stock. (3.64 final drive ratio also)

Ok, they've got a 330 bhp sixbanger and you've got a 260 SOHC bhp poor excuse for a v8. They're 13.1-13.3 second cars. Just as quick as an LS1. 281, you need to get a god damn dyno sheet and an ET slip before you can talk any ****. Your car runs 14.4. Your car is slow. I'm sick of your bragging, so shut the **** up and take your **** to the track before you talk anything to us. You were already owned by Blown Chevy, who ran a 13.2 at the time, and you've done little to no mods since then.

YOU ARE SLOW, SHUT UP.

Jumping down his throat. . . . I like it! The M3 is a quick car running 13.2's as tested, and everyday usually mid to low 13's. it is a quick car that hands lightly modded mustangs there ***. and some unsespecting ls1 owners too. i still would like to see some of your dyno sheets and 1/4 times too. mario winter needs to hurry so you can get numbers on your **** also!

.
Haha... I love it.

281 logic - "his car is slower cause it has to spin all the way up to 8 grand, when I shift at 5,500 ... it's only common sense"

and i dont think the new m3 is even QUICK it has a 333hp straight six ...come on now ?
So if you consider a car that has 333hp and runs low 13's slow ... what would you consider a 260hp car that runs low 14's - high 13's?

Come on 281, I know you are more intelligent than this ...

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. As for the M3 goes its a 98, unfortunately its not the E46 body style as you all speak of but none the less its very quick. My buddy ran a 14.2 stock in it not that its cammed we are not sure what it will do but it pulls very hard in top end. It's lopey as hell ... sounds funny for a beemer.. 281 as for the mustang goes .... my buddy has beaten bolton mustangs before with the M3... one of them had full exhuast intake and 373's so i dunno.... not trying to jump down your throat n **** but just telling you my expierience

i'd say an m3 is parallel to a 2001+ ls1 ni the 1/4.

all from a straight six too.
