GTOs are about 100lbs lighter than the 1st gen. V....

Nice kill, might seen you around too. I head out that way every now and then. I got the chance to race a V one when i was heading home from WA while driving through AZ whoop'd my *** pulling 3-5 cars. Haha guy was cool about it though, throwing my the thumbs up. its was a 1st gen.

Good kill! If it was an auto and he just punched it then you would be gone before his even downshifted into the right gear.

Yeah, this looks more correct to me than 200-300 lbs.

Guy was an auto for sure!! But really the V's are beast from roll races.. So i really didnt expect him to keep up that close. Ive raced my friends 06 Vette which is an auto also. We went from a 60 roll and were just about even to 120mph when he got a nose on me and we are both are basically stock.. So im really happy with the way my V runs!!

its more like 200-250lbs lighter..

shonick weighed his ls2 gto at the track and weighed about 3500 or something around there....


I havent seen a full interior CTS-V weight in inder 3750

I havent seen a full interior CTS-V weight in inder 3750
Curb weight of the GTO is listed as 3725, with fluids C&Ds weighed 3781lbs.

There is no 3500lb or so GTO unless weight reduction. Even the "other" 110mph "stock" trap speed GTO weighed more than that.
