its an older build.... 8.5:1, but i think that will give me a larger margian when i have the t-trim on 20psi and spray it with a 100 shot. lol
looking into other posts, it seems as though the T/A is on a 75 shot, so he may have been spraying....
as he only went 8.47 at 86.01mph in the 1/8th w/o spray

Once you noticed that, seemed you let off. I'd like to see this race from a roll. I'd guess the Cobra would win by 4 or 5 carlengths.

I read the OP first post and I saw "when I went into 5th I started to pull on him even more"... I was like 
. Then I read you had a t56. I had a 97 cobra, mild bolt ons... if I wasent winning by 5th gear... I had no chance, lol. 5th is a tall gear.

nice kill on an apparently unsuspecting victim and yes we all know cam only cars are nothing to underestimate...surely a 8.47 is not what he ran with the cam though...thats kinda slow

apparently he did cam before longtubes and off road y...., and thats what those times reflect..

Hey everybody I finally found the thread haha. I haven't been on in a while. The slowER T/A is me haha. It was definitely a good run. I didnt miss fourth...I let out because it just didnt feel safe with my wife in the car freaking out goin around the corner at 110 haha. The next though I did miss third
....I can take the driver error there. I havent driven the car in over a month....too busy with wedding/honeymoon/work. Last race you definitely take me 4-5 cars. I would say you had me by 1 car from 45-115ish(mainly when I was in 4th) and they walked away once I hit fifth...she slows down in fifth with the 4.10 gears.
I wasnt spraying for any of the runs and yes it is only a 75 shot(not sure if the fuel pump can handle more). As for the power mods on my cars here goes...85mm bbk intake and tb, Lts, ORY, Magnamouth exhaust, 4.10s, 226/226 .600/.609 110lsa cam, 75 shot. Setup is kinda weak and only put down 350rwhp(on a mustang dyno) before the LT, ORY, Magnaflow bullet muffler and spray. She needs a retune as well now.
I was happy to finally get a good run in with a fast car as you dont see too many of them in the area. So props to a fast car. Once you started it up I was damn the supercharger is whistling away haha this is a battle I may not win. Thanks for chasing me down and goin to like 10 miles the wrong way haha. Thats good it was only a oil line that busted because it was like you were goin down a dirt road there was so much smoke haha. Glad you didnt pop a piston. Sorry I didnt stop...I had to calm my wife down as I kept telling her this is the last one haha. She wasnt bitching at me but just scared. I couldnt because I only had one other run this year and its so much fun. I just like running them wether I win or lose.
Like I put in the other thread about my license plate: ITS SLO
If I win....I dont know what happened "its slo"
If I LOSE....Yup "its slo"
If I get pulled over... Officer I couldnt have been speeding "its slo"
I ran a 12.92 at 110 before LTs, ORY and spray. Waiting to get back to the track soon.
Yea lenny its obvious its camm'd when its cold isnt it haha. Just like the whistle of your supercharger haha. We do need to meet up again...when and where do you guys usually hang out? If from about 30min. north of dickson city. Scranton area would be great as I keep my car at my dads which is like another 15 min. north of my apartment.

and yes powershifter I was VERY suspecting of his car haha...that supercharger whistle is LOUD.

It was some good friendly racing and I wish there were more gear-heads around to hang out with. There arent to many people around in the area here so it not too often you find a good race. Not to mention the closest 1/8 mile track is about an hour away and the closest 1/4 mile track is just under 2 hours or so away....basically it sucks. Hope the OP peaks back in the thread again here.
