Do it for you, not for what other people will think of your car.
The best way to get races is to put a huge v-tec sticker on the side of your car with an APC winshield banner, single wiper conversion, neon green paint, and a big carbon fiber wing on top of the factory wing.

It's always funny because they roll up trying to be sneaky about it, like no one notices the borla/corsa on the back instead of the single donkey dong exhaust like a V6 has.
It's all the more surprising for them when they realize that my motor is bigger than theirs, and has a lot more spray

I'm not sure ... I like the look of no badges on the side ... but I would leave the Z28 on the rear fender. I think it gives the car a cleaner look on the sides ... never did like where they put those Z28 emblems.
Streetracing I'm talkin' about.
Seriously though, I never, never, never get tried. It's about 1 try per every 60 days.

As far as badges go, take um off. If the person is even worth racing they will know what your car is and wanna race you, the badges won't make a difference. I have never had badges on any of the cars I have owned and have been in uncountable races. It is all in the attitude and presentation to the other person.
Sometimes a simple ****-eyed grin is enough and sometimes it takes half a tank of gas and 30 miles of driving beside the red T/A with the short blond guy driving while revving and looking over the entire time while he is trying to ignore you like you aren't worth his ******* time and then finally racing just as we get to Galveston only to find out that his car is ******* stock with open Borla and slow as hell!!
Sorry......................
